Departmental Activities

The Staff and the students of the Chemistry Department take active participation in all the activities held in Udalguri College. The department celebrates all the important days such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Lachit Divas, International Day of Yoga, World Environmental Day, Teachers Day etc. along with the Staff and students of the College with great enthusiasm.  Every year on the 20th of August, we celebrate College Foundation Day with great joy.

The department actively participated in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign on Independence Day of India. The department took active participation in the “Mera Mati Mera Desh” Campaign on 17th of September, 2023. The department staff were engaged in extension education work by providing lectures for Class 9 and Class 10 students of  Khwrang High School, Udalguri. The staff as well as honours students of the department took part in Unnat Bharat Abhijan.

An important contribution of the department is that the staff and students of the department in Collaboration with the Udalguri District Police prepared Sanitizers for the common people of the greater Udalguri area in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic period. We got support from the public and we feel proud by remembering that period.
